About Blue Hill at Stone Barns
When Blue Hill first opened in Greenwich Village in the year 2000, legendary food critic Jonathan Gold called it "the epitome of farm-to-table." Four years later, Dan Barber, Blue Hill's founder, was given an opportunity to further that vision, invited to establish a restaurant in the Rockefeller Preserve on the site of its 80-acre working farm. Two decades later, Blue Hill at Stone Barns is widely regarded as one of the best and most innovative restaurants in the world, currently holding two Michelin stars.
Blue Hill at Stone Barns is acclaimed for its creative and delicious presentation of seasonal ingredients, most of which are sourced on property. A meal at Blue Hill at Stone Barns is meant to expand your perception of an ingredient, exploring not only its flavor, but also its cultivation, application, and preparation. This art embodies Dan Barber’s commitment to a sustainable future of food.

New York City Recommendations
New York City is so temptingly close to Westchester, and with many of you traveling from so far away, we recognize that you may want to adventure into the City while you are close. We’ve compiled a brief list of some of our absolute favorite restaurants and places to visit. This list could have been much longer than it already is, so please ask if you are looking for specific recommendations!
If you intend on visiting the City while you are here, we simply recommend that you do be very mindful of when you do so; traffic, train delays, and crowds can of course be unpredictable, and we would hate to have any of you late to or miss any of the celebration due to events out of your control.
